Our Schools
“Let's Get Growing" – 1st, 2nd and 5th graders explore basic principles of Botany and how these principles relate to the human body.
Poetry Club – a lunchtime project for 2nd graders where they read poetry selections and create poetry books.
"Bridging the Curriculum" – supports the 1st grade Passport to Learning program and the Learning Habitat.
"Classroom Feeder Watch" – 4th grade students identify birds, collect and analyze data, contributing their research to a Cornell University database.
"Literary Circles" – provides materials for 5th grade literature discussion groups.
Clay Totem Poles – 5th graders create Tlinglet totem poles based on their inter-disciplinary studies of these Native Americans.
Music Technology Lab – allows 6th and 7th graders to explore music notation and digital recording.
"The World of Technology" – 6th thru 8th graders created a world map from computer circuit boards.
K through 8 Art Show – district-wide music and art showcase co-sponsored with the PTO.
