“Pocket Full of Learning” -- 10 iPods and accessories to be used with the Reading Workshop curriculum. Grades 2
“Concept Book Classroom Library” -- Additional concept books to be added to the kindergarten Reading Workshop curriculum. Grade K

“Enriquecimiento Del Programa Espanol con Arte” -- To enhance the Spanish program through exposure to Spanish Art & Culture. Grades 3-5
“Differentiation for the Spanish Curriculum” -- Materials, which include spanish games, to supplement the Spanish curriculum. Grades 3-5

“Scanners for the 3rd Grade Classrooms” -- Purchase of scanners to scan curriculum related pictures and texts in all subject areas. Grade 3
“E-Readers in the Classroom” -- This grant is to fund a pilot project using E-reader technology (Kindles) in Bogert. This grant will fund the software while the equipment will be funded through the school district. Grade 5

“Science Lab Equipment & Furniture” -- Furnish the two newly renovated science labs. This includes stools and a cabinet, as well as necessary equipment such as microscopes, scales, hot plates and beakers. Grades 6-8
“Television Studio (Phase 3)” -- Partially funded to replace outdated equipment. This includes a character generator and a monitor, DVD decks and digital camera. (This is a continuation of grants submitted the last 2 years.) Grades 6-8
“A Hidden Child’s Holocaust” -- Sponsoring speaker to present his story of living through the holocaust. Purchase of additional materials to support the curriculum. (This grant was partially funded last year.) Grade 8
“Student Success Through Reader’s Workshop” -- Purchase books and storage bins to support the Reader’s Workshop program. Grade 6
“Eight Grade Laptops” -- Provides for the purchase of 12 laptops for the 8th grade laptop cart. Grade 8
“Kindles in the Classroom” -- Partially fund a pilot program to utilize 5 Kindles in the 7th grade Language Arts program. Grade 7
“Cardinal Camera” -- Purchase a digital camera and kit for the school newspaper. Grades 7-8
“National Parks” -- Purchase a digital camera and kit for the school newspaper. Grades 7-8
“Don Quijote’s Impossible Dream Project” -- Purchase 50 copies of “Las Adventuras de Don Quijote’ for the 8th grade Spanish students. Grades 8
“History Through Film” -- Purchase materials to support a new elective. Grades 7-8
“Korg Keyboard Workstation” -- Replace a damaged keyboard to be used with the band programs. Grades 6-8
